About Us

Ameena Norrise is a healer, educator, and advocate whose life’s mission has been to uplift, empower, and transform lives. Her journey began at just 11 years old when she became a youth counselor at her middle school, offering a listening ear and heartfelt guidance to peers in need. That early experience ignited a calling that has grown into a lifelong path of service and emotional healing.

With a career that spans work in girls’ group homes, elder care, and community-based counseling, Ameena has touched lives across generations. She has deeply studied Interpersonal Therapy, Abuse Prevention, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Root Therapy and more providing a well-rounded, evidence-based approach to emotional support and education. She is also a Certified Holistic Wellness Practitioner, blending mind-body-spirit practices into all aspects of her work.

Ameena is the author of The Love Code series a collection of transformational workbooks that guide individuals through the process of healing and self-discovery. Her passion for helping others find clarity and inner strength is what drives the vision of the World Institute of Training (WIT).

WIT was born from Ameena’s unwavering belief that healing and education go hand-in-hand. Through this organization, she envisions a safe, inclusive space where individuals, especially youth from under-resourced communities, can access holistic educational tools, emotional support, and personal development opportunities.
